More than 5 million people have already downloaded the trailer for the new Star Trek film, directed by J.J. Abrams (Lost) and starring Heroes‘ Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock (pictured at left), and it’s only been out five days.  It’s the most popular HD download ever on Apple.com, and within 24 hours of its exclusive debut on March 6, it tallied more than 1.8 million downloads. Star Trek hits theaters on May 8, and also features Chris Pine, Eric Bana, John Cho, Winona Ryder and Trek vet Leonard Nimoy. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out below.
