Alyssa Milano sitcom slated for April debut

A late entry to the spring TV season: Alyssa Milano‘s comedy Romantically Challenged will debut April 19, airing for five weeks behind Dancing With the Stars on Mondays at 9:30 ET/PT, reports USA TODAY’s Gary Levin. Milano stars as the girlfriend of a thirtysomething guy torn between her and his best friend. ABC was unhappy with the first episode but retooled and refilmed it. The network’s last try at a post-Dancing comedy, Christina Applegate‘s Samantha Who?, premiered in 2007 and lasted two seasons. – Ann Oldenburg
